6 Days Gorilla Tracking

Overview

Welcome to Uganda the Pearl of Africa, where you will get to explore these second next
to human being creatures on this amazing trip, where you will hold an opportunity to
track mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, this activity will always give your life time
memories and experience in the juggles of Bwindi.

You will track one groping of 18 habituated mountain gorilla groups in a group of 8 members with aid of  guide. It is a nice experience but need physically fit people since it evolves walking and hiking.

Not only Gorillas alone,  you will  have opportunity to see other primates like Baboons, the red-tailed monkeys, white colobus monkeys, chimpanzees and  many others.

This forest is also home to 120 mammals, chameleons, 51 reptiles, 310 butterfly species, 27 species of frogs, 163 tree species, 104 fern species, as well as over 350 species of birds such as the hornbills and the Turacos!

This activity takes about 2 to 8 hours. It involves climbing up and sloping down rolling hills, and going through purely green vegetation.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda Transfer to your accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala.

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport.

Transfer to your accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala.

Rest and relax after your journey.

Overnight stay in Entebbe or Kampala.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (approximately 8-9 hours drive).

Enjoy scenic views along the way.

Arrive at Bwindi in the evening.

Check-in at your lodge.

Dinner and overnight stay in Bwindi.

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking Early morning breakfast.

Proceed to the park headquarters for briefing by park rangers.

Begin the gorilla tracking adventure in the dense forest of Bwindi.

Spend up to an hour observing and photographing the gorillas in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation.

Optional: Visit the local community for cultural experiences.

Dinner and overnight stay in Bwindi.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Breakfast at the lodge.

Breakfast at the lodge.

Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park (approximately 5-6 hours drive).

Enjoy a game drive en route to the park.

Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park and check-in at your lodge.

Lunch at the lodge.

Evening relaxation or optional activities such as a nature walk.

Dinner and overnight stay at Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 5: Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park Early morning breakfast.

Early morning breakfast.

Proceed for a morning game drive in the park.

Encounter various wildlife species including elephants, lions, buffaloes, and more.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, known for its high concentration of hippos and birdlife.

Dinner and overnight stay at Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 6: Return to Entebbe Depart for Entebbe (approximately 6-7 hours drive).

Breakfast at the lodge.

Depart for Entebbe (approximately 6-7 hours drive).

Enjoy lunch en route.

Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon.

Optional: Visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary (depending on flight departure time).

Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for departure.
