THE BOOKING

All bookings and contracts must be made through a customer’s authorized representative and shall be
concluded in Kampala – Uganda and shall be subject to these terms and conditions and interpreted in
accordance with the laws of Uganda.

All communications by the Company will be sent to the address stated on the booking form.

Full payment must be made 30 days before the date of the safaris trip. If payment is not received by the
due date, the company reserves the right to cancel the booking. The person signing the booking form
and/or contract guarantees payment of the total amount shown on the booking form in accordance
with these terms and conditions. It is the responsibility of the signatory to ensure the Company receives
payment in full by the due date. The Company shall not be mandated to send reminders.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

A 60% deposit PLUS full payment for gorilla and chimpanzee permits (non-refundable) is required to
secure a booking. This deposit forms part of the payment for the safaris trip and shall be offset to the
total amount charged to the client/agent.

Receipt of the deposit and booking form by the company does neither guarantee nor imply confirmation
of the booking. No booking shall be confirmed until the Company issues a written notice to the client or
agent.

If the full amount is not paid at least 30 days prior to departure, the Company reserves the right to treat
the booking as cancelled and the deposit shall be forfeited.

If an Agent/Client books within 30 days to the departure date, payment must be made in full at the time
of booking to secure a reservation.

All bank charges are to be settled by the client / agent respectively. This includes transaction fees
charged by our bank.

The amount shown on the invoice, is the amount that needs to reflect in our account together with the
applicable bank charges. If the client/agent does not pay for the bank charges, the Company shall be
entitled to separately invoice for the said bank charges.

The handling fee will be charged in addition to the applicable service provider fees.

PRICE CHANGES

All our prices are based on the current national park fees and taxes. Should the authorities decide to
increase any fees and taxes, even though they might currently not be scheduled, the Client will be
required to meet such fees and taxes. The Company shall not be liable for such increment in fees and
taxes.

CANCELLATIONS

Occasionally it may be deemed necessary to make changes and the Company reserves the right to do so
at any time and you will be notified of any changes at the earliest possible opportunity. If a major

change to your safaris tour is necessary, provided it does not arise from circumstances beyond the
Company’s control, you may choose to accept the change of arrangements or cancel your safaris trip.
When you cancel your trip, the Company will refund all the money already paid by the client. This shall
be the Company’s sole responsibility to the client and no claim for any damages, howsoever arising,
shall accrue against the Company.

No compensation will be payable for minor changes. Minor changes include minimal changes to
departure and arrival times. Compensation shall not be paid for changes or cancellations caused by Acts
of God, war, threat of war, pandemics, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute, closure or congestion of
airports, strikes or other industrial, adverse weather conditions or any other event beyond the
Company’s control.

It is essential that you take out adequate travel insurance.

Cancellations of your safaris tour must be sent in writing to the tour consultant that confirmed the
reservation or with management and a notification will be given to you in writing by JE FAIS NATURE
SAFARIS management). Cancellations shall only be effective from the date of receipt of such cancellation
confirmation from the Company. In case of a booking cancellation, the Company shall retain the full
deposit.

If a booking is cancelled the client is subject to a cancellation fee as follows:

(i) 60 days prior to arrival – 10% Cancellation Fee

(ii) 59 – 32 days prior to arrival – 25% Cancellation Fee

(iii) 31 – 8 days prior to arrival – 50% Cancellation Fee

(iv) 7 – 3 days prior to arrival – 80% Cancellation Fee

(v) 48 hours and no-show – 100% Cancellation Fee

JE FAIS NATURE SAFARIS Reserves the right to deduct all expenses incurred from money paid.

PASSPORTS, VISAS AND OTHER TRAVEL PAPERS

It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure that passports, visas, health certificates, proof of
vaccinations and any other documentation required, like travel and accident insurance, are all in order
for the countries to be visited. The company accepts no responsibility for any delay or expense should
your documents not be in order.

BAGGAGE

At any time, all baggage and personal effects are at the client’s sole responsibility and the Company
does not accept any liability for any loss or damage of any personal effects, howsoever arising.

RISK

The client accepts that all tours are of an adventurous nature and involve an element of personal risk.
Neither the Company nor any of its agents can be held liable in any way for any injury, loss of life or
damage to property, howsoever caused. The client hereby indemnifies the Company and will hold the
Company, its agent, assigns and servants harmless from any such claim.

The client accepts full responsibility for all risks involved.

AUTHORITY ON TOUR

The decisions of the Company’s guide/ driver on tour shall at all times be final and binding.

The client must at all times comply with the laws, customs and foreign exchange regulations of all
countries visited.

MARKETING CHAIN

The Company reserves the right to use any photographs and videos taken during tours for marketing or
any other advertising material. The client hereby gives consent to use such photographs and authorizes
the Company to retain copyright for these photographs and such material.
